The Church of God in Christ World Missions Department invites youth and young adults to be part of a life-changing global outreach experience through Youth On a Mission (YOAM) 2026! This international trip to Liberia, Africa offers participants an opportunity to serve, minister, and make an impact through evangelism, education, and humanitarian work.
Participants will engage in meaningful ministry work including:
🏠 Evangelism: Home-to-home and church outreach
🎒 Hospitality: Visiting primary and secondary schools
📖 Seminars: Leadership and training for pastors and women
🎨 Vacation Bible School: Arts, crafts, sports, puppets, and music
🏥 Medical Ministry
🧱 Construction Projects: Building water towers, churches, and bunk beds
Trip Cost: Approximately $2,900 per person (departing from Washington, D.C.)
Non-refundable Deposit: $500 due by January 31, 2026

Join us for a sacred time of corporate prayer as we respond to An Urgent Call to Prayer. Led by the Department of Women, under the direction of Mother W. Irene Joy Jordan, this monthly gathering is a powerful moment of intercession, reflection, and renewal.
This special in-person session—held every Thursday before the fourth Sunday—calls for the mourning women, prayer warriors, and believers of every generation to come together in unity and seek God’s face for healing, deliverance, and strength.

It’s Farmer’s Rally Time!

It’s that time of year again! Join us for the Fall’s annual Farmer’s Rally, an outreach effort dedicated to ensuring that families and friends facing challenging times can enjoy a joyful and abundant holiday season.
We’re collecting non-perishable foods, fresh vegetables, and monetary donations to provide holiday food baskets for those in need. Donations will be accepted through Sunday, November 23, 2025, with a collection box available in the church lobby. The church will also purchase turkeys—donations toward turkey purchases are welcome and appreciated!
If you or someone you know is in need of a food basket, please contact the Business Office at (301) 277-2020 by November 20.
We’re also seeking volunteers to help sort food and carry boxes to vehicles.

Get ready to move! The RSCOGIC Fitness Ministry invites you to join the 7-Week Walking Spree, a fun, free, and faith-centered journey toward better health—wherever you are! This is not a race, but a practice for better living through consistent movement and mindfulness.
Throughout the seven weeks, participants will focus on improving overall wellness by building endurance, strengthening the heart, and supporting bone health. Walking can also help reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep habits, boost metabolism, and elevate your mood.
