Women’s Week 2025

What a powerful and purpose-filled Women’s Week was had! Centered around the theme “I Must Be About My Father’s Business – To Finish the Work” (Luke 2:49, John 4:34), each day reminded us of the importance of walking in purpose and fulfilling God’s call with faith and strength.

We began with Pink Sunday, standing together in unity for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and celebrating healing, victory, and God’s sustaining power. The 24-Hour Prayer Watch followed, filling our hearts and homes with prayer and intercession as women came together to seek God’s presence.

The week continued with Millennial Fire, featuring inspiring messages from Missionary Jamisha Ford, Dr. Melissa Harris, and Evangelist LaShawn Richardson. These young women in ministry brought a powerful word that ignited faith, passion, and purpose, reminding us that God is raising up bold voices for this generation.

Saturday’s Fireside Chat offered wisdom, laughter, and heartfelt discussion, featuring First Lady Mother Wilhelmenia Irene Joy Jordan, Mother Carrie Harris, Supervisor Melody Whitley, and Supervisor Herldleen Russell.

The week concluded in a spirit of celebration and reflection on Women’s Day Sunday. The morning began with a Master Sunday School Class led by Mother Carrie Harris on the lesson “Trusting the Spirit”. This enriching session reminded us of the power of obedience and faith in God’s direction.

During the morning service, the Women’s Choir- featuring voices from many generations- came together in beautiful harmony, setting the tone for a powerful morning. Their songs prepared every heart to receive an inspiring message from our guest speaker, Supervisor Lee Van Zandt, whose dynamic word renewed our strength, deepened our faith, and encouraged us to finish the work God has placed in our hands.

We thank every woman who participated, prayed, sang, or served in any way. This year’s Women’s Week was a testament to faith, sisterhood, and purpose. It truly a week to remember.
