The vision of the Music Ministry is to serve as worship leaders in preparing each heart through music to be receptive to the preached or taught Word of God.  The Music Ministry supports and works closely with the Pastor.  Love and compassion, for people and an intense yearning and longing for their salvation is the basis of the Music Ministry.
 

Praise, worship and service are vital elements in the Music Ministry.  The Word of the Lord in Psalm 150 says to “Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord.”  This we know as a commandment for all to praise the Lord, continuously, and we know that praise leads into worship.  Saint John 4:23 and 24 tells us that God seeks only “true worshippers” to worship Him.  Therefore, it is imperative for members of the Music Ministry to serve as examples to the congregation as:  a)  leaders for attitudes of reverence and worship; b)  leaders of enthusiastic congregational singing and c)  leaders with regards to general alertness, attentiveness and respect to the message and messenger of the Word of God, to be truly effective.
